Hello there!
It’s great to see your interest in line dancing, and I’m excited to welcome you to our community. Whether you’re here to pick up a new hobby, meet new friends, or just get active, you’ve chosen a fun and engaging way to do it. I’m here to help you get started and make sure you feel comfortable every step of the way.
First off, when you arrive at the venue, head straight to the payment desk located in front of the stage. Pay your fee, collect a stamp, and then feel free to find a comfortable spot to settle in.
Now, if you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed after your first class, don’t worry—it’s completely normal! Like any new skill, line dancing takes a little patience and practice. Remember, “Rome wasn’t built in a day,” and with a few more classes, things will start to click, and you’ll find yourself dancing more confidently.
Our classes are more than just learning steps; we’re a vibrant community. Beyond the dance floor, we enjoy group meals, social gatherings, and even line dancing holidays! Last year we even danced our way to sunny Spain. So, there’s plenty to look forward to!

Here are answers to some common questions you might have:
Health Concerns: Absolutely check with your doctor if you have health concerns before starting any new physical activity.
What to Wear: Comfort is key! Wear clothes that allow you to move freely. For shoes, a less grippy sole helps with turns. Feel free to bring two pairs to see what works best on the dance floor.
Payment Options: Please bring cash, as we do not accept cards. Exact change is appreciated, though we do have some change on hand if needed.
Class Duration: The beginners’ class runs for 60 minutes, but the whole evening can last up to 3 hours as we accommodate different levels.
Progression: Progress varies per individual, but typically, you might reach an improver level within six to twelve months.
Two Left Feet: No worries at all! Everyone starts somewhere, and with patience and practice, you’ll find your rhythm.
Bringing Children: Children are welcome, provided they are supervised and behave appropriately throughout the class.
Bringing Refreshments: This depends on the venue. Check the class page and the FAQ section at the bottom for specific rules about refreshments.
Missing a Class: Life happens! If you can’t make it, a quick message to let me know would be much appreciated.
Staying After Class: Feel free to stay and watch the higher-level classes. It’s a great way to learn by observation, but try to resist the temptation to join in until you’re ready.
Health & Safety: There is a correct way to behave at a dance class, there is lots of fun but for health and safety of each person there is a dance floor ettiequte to adhere too. Please click here to view dance floor etiquette for line dancers.
I hope this helps answer some of your questions! I’m looking forward to seeing you tap your toes and have a great time with us. See you on the dance floor!
Warm regards,
Daniel
